AFTERCARE
To keep your lash extensions looking fabulous and ensure they last as long as possible, please follow these important aftercare tips:
Avoid Moisture for 12-24HRS:
Keep your lashes dry for the first 12-24 hrs hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully cure. This means avoiding steam, saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating during this period.
Avoid Oil-Based Products:
Keep oil-based products away from your lashes, including makeup removers, lotions, and eye creams. Oil can weaken the adhesive bond and cause premature lash extension loss.
Clean Your Lashes Gently:
Use a lash extension-approved cleanser to clean your lashes regularly. We recommend a gentle, oil-free, and sulfate-free cleanser. Avoid using regular face cleansers or makeup removers as they can break down the adhesive.
Brush Your Lashes Daily:
Use a clean spoolie brush to comb through your lashes daily. This helps to keep them looking neat and separates any lashes that may have become tangled.
Avoid Rubbing or Pulling:
Be gentle when touching or cleansing your eyes. Avoid rubbing, pulling, or picking at your lashes, as this can cause them to fall out prematurely or damage your natural lashes.
To prevent your lashes from becoming misshapen or rubbing against your pillow, try to sleep on your back. Using a silk or satin pillowcase can also help reduce friction.
Avoid Eyelash Curlers:
Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions, as this can damage both the extensions and your natural lashes.
Schedule Regular Touch-Ups:
To keep your lash extensions looking full and beautiful, schedule a refill appointment every 2-3 weeks. This helps maintain the look and ensures your natural lashes stay healthy.
Follow Your Stylist’s Advice:
Adhere to any additional aftercare advice provided by your lash stylist. They may have specific recommendations based on your lash type and the extensions used.
